Serves 1

  • 2 Tadin Chamomile Lavender tea bags
  • 2 heaping Tbsp. (about 28 grams) ceremonial-grade cacao, chopped or crumbled
  • 1 cup 165°F water (not boiling)
  • 3/4 cup of your favorite plant-based milk
  • 1 tsp. your favorite sweetener (optional)
  • edible flower, garnish

  1. Add the chopped cacao and tea bags to a large heat-resistant jar or measuring cup. Pour the warm water over the cacao and tea bags. Cover with a small saucer or lid and steep the tea for five to 10 minutes before removing the tea bags.
  2. Use a milk frother to incorporate the cacao tea mixture. Note: This can also be placed in a blender for 30 seconds for an extra-creamy texture.
  3. Cool the cacao tea mixture to room temperature and froth again, before adding a large glass with ice and milk. Garnish with a fresh edible flower.
