Makes two

Ingredients:

  • 4 Tadin Pineapple Ginger tea bags
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1 small tomatillo, quartered
  • 1 cup pineapple, medium diced
  • 1 cup of crushed ice
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 tsp. cilantro leaves
  • 1 shot non-alcoholic tequila
  • 1 Tbsp. honey (optional)
  • 2-4 dashes your favorite hot sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. chile lime salt
  • 2 pineapple slices, garnish

Instructions:

  1. Pour boiling water over the tea bags. Add a lid or small saucer on top of the mug and steep for five minutes before removing. Cool to room temperature or place in the fridge overnight.
  2. Pour the chile lime salt onto a small plate and spread it out. Dip the pineapple slices into the mixture and twist them so they are coated.
  3. Add the tomatillo, diced pineapple, ice, orange juice, cilantro leaves, non-alcoholic tequila, honey, hot sauce, and cooled tea to a blender.
  4. Blend until combined for about 30-60 seconds. Pour the drinks into two glasses and garnish with chile lime pineapple slices.
