matcha powder - green tea - recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups water, divided
  • 2/3 cup rolled oats
  • 1 Tadin cinnamon stick
  • 1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk
  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup Tadin Flaxseed with Matcha Green Tea
  • Ice for serving
  • Cold foam milk for serving

Instructions:

  1. Heat 2 cups water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Do not boil.
  2. Remove saucepan from heat and add oats and cinnamon stick. Set aside for 30 minutes.
  3. Place 1 cup water in a blender. Add soaked cinnamon stick and blend until completely pulverized. Strain into a large pitcher and set aside. Rinse blender.
  4. Add soaked oats, 1 cup water, evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and Tadin Flaxseed with Matcha Green Tea to blender. Blend until smooth.
  5. Pour mixture into pitcher with blended cinnamon. Stir to combine.
  6. Serve over ice, top with cold foam, and finish with a sprinkle of Tadin Flaxseed with Matcha Green Tea.
